About us
In 1975, Linda opened her first business, “Lynda Lee’s Designer Boutique” (her own clothing label brand), at the age of 26 years old. Her experiences included tailoring, bridal gowns, theatrical costumes and movie productions, she also established herself as a private designer for Andre Crouch, The Isley Bros., and many others.
From 1980 thru 1992 she opened her next venture; KL Designs, a manufacturing company. This upper end denim design and manufacturing company was a good outlet for her fashion designing, fabric design and innovation, it was a constant cash flow. During the 1992 LA Riots, she lost most of her equipment (30 machines) inventory, patterns, and samples. The building remained dormant for over 3 years.
After restoring her shop, Linda had a new vision. The T-shirt generation was strong and endless. Hence, The T- Shirt Spot became another Venture in the fashion industry. In 2003, she began to cover an entire neighborhood with affordable clothing that can be customized. The T-Shirt Spot provided a need in the community by donating to little leagues, helping schools with their uniform design and positive images for the youth through their clothing. Often by working with the schools on their fundraisers, she became involved in the event.
The T-Shirt Spot is constantly adding to their product line with the updated equipment allowing them to print in six different methods. They focus on their surrounding communities, schools, car clubs, bike clubs, social clubs, companies and individuals, but can deliver anywhere!
